在 weekly busy period, 我和 mom went to奶奶's house for a visit. The arrival was a bit strange when I saw the big yellow field with golden crops in it. We immediately called out, and from "brown grass" to here, our hearts were full of joy. When we entered the house, I felt a little awkward but also filled with anticipation.
After greeting my mom and dad's heartfelt wishes for her birthday, we began traveling around town and visiting various places in our neighborhood during that weekend. It was all about learning to love them as one person while taking in their sights. The time was short though; we didn't have much time to spare but still managed to make a few memories.
During the day, I heard my mom's excited voice at the end of the street and thought it would be great if I could join her. She had just come from an exciting day at work where her boss was upgrading our TV set with new models for the family. I felt a bit uneasy but couldn't help but laugh as they laughed too.
By nightfall, we had all made our last stops before heading back to their home. We told our mom and dad goodnight, packed up our bags, ate dinner, and drove back home. It was such a beautiful day and I felt so lucky that I got to be part of this incredible family together.
And then we realized we had done everything! That week's visit was such an unforgettable experience that I can't even remember how it started or what I was thinking when I saw those golden potatoes floating in the air. It just feels wonderful how much a lifetime we share with our parents and so many friends around us.
Once again, I had the privilege of spending a day with my mom and dad, learning to love them as one person while enjoying their sightseeing adventures. The best part of all was seeing her smile on those bright sunny days when she was so young. She was just learning how much joy life has brought us, and that's what I thought was special about this trip.
And now it's my turn to write another version of this story, but with a different twist. This time, instead of focusing on the sightseeing experiences we had during our visit, I want you to imagine being one of those kids who felt so lucky to be part of their family and that special day when they were young. You might not see the same excitement or joy that other children did, but I can still feel how much it meant to me to be there with them.
Each time I read these stories, I'm reminded of a life that was made together by so many people over the years. It's such an honor to share your day with someone as special as奶奶 and her family. And just like those golden potatoes we saw in the sky when we finally got home, there are always little treasures waiting for us when we take it all in stride.
